About Us
I am Roger Davis, a classically trained pianist based in Derbyshire. I provide wedding and special event piano music in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire area.
Growing up in Derbyshire in the 1980’s and 90’s I began playing the piano at the age of 7. I was encouraged to play the classical repertoire from an early age and am familiar with many of the works from composers right across music history. I also maintain a keen interest in popular music in all it’s forms.
After completing a Bachelor degree, and Masters degree, in music I turned to teaching the piano. This remains at the centre of my musical activities. As well as this I regularly perform with amateur dramatic groups and local rock bands.
I believe that live piano music can create a unique atmosphere. After all, there is no other instrument that sounds equally as good playing the Beatles as it does playing Beethoven! This diversity is part of what continues to fuel my love of the piano.
